Ruzbin and team replaced our driveway and walkway recently. They did an excellent job. We have a long driveway and drainage issues over the years. They worked alongside the driveway drain and addressed areas that were sunken. They are professional and easy to work with. Competitive quote. Competed the job in two days. Ruzbin Martinez and New Era Paving & Excavating did a fantastic job on our driveway from initial preparation and application of the binder (base) to the finished product. Because our home was still under construction and the landscaping and hardscape were not completed when the binder coat was installed we ended up waiting almost 3 years just using the binder coat. It was so well done that we probably could have just kept using it instead of having the finish coat. However we just had the finish coat applied today and it looks fantastic. The entire New Era crew were professional, efficient, and extremely neat while installing the finish coat. They took the time to properly clean the grass at the edges of the binder coat as well as a few areas that were damaged by the heavy equipment used in finishing the landscaping and the building. I highly recommend New Era, Ruzbin, and his crew for new or replacement driveways and I would also use him for any other services he provides! If you need a paving crew, this team does a great job.  They showed up on time and did an amazing job paving my driveway.  I could not be happier with the quality work and the care they put in.  They went above and beyond on the whole project and for the money, it IS a great value.  They paid such close attention to details I could not even see.  They have a great eye for what they do.  It is also worth noting that by driveway was not just a pass and go driveway.  There are a lot of tricky slopes in the terrain they had to contend with and they dealt with it masterfully. We’re a military family that have traveled and owned homes around the world for over a decade. This has by far been the easiest and most professional company I have worked with in a very long time. For us work ethic and completing the job on time and with an amazing product is the most important. I never had to hire a company to do a driveway, but I am glad I came across New Era. They showed up on time with equipment that looked like they just got it from the dealership, so clean!!! All of the guys were super nice and really treated my house like their own. They took their time and you can see their dedication in their work. watching them was like watching a show! Their coordination was amazing like they were reading each other’s minds. And the owner Ruzbin was there every step of the job making sure everyone was on there A game. But when asking for a recommendation for paving a condominium association property, the banker for the association highly recommended New Era Paving of Westminster.   After reviewing other proposals and estimates, the Board selected to work with Ruzbin Martinez. Ruzbin fulfilled his obligations perfectly and completed the work on time without additional compensation for some additional changes made after the contract was signed. Late last year, I requested a quote from New Era after seeing them work on another driveway in my area. I watched over time as I saw quality work. I had called another company and was displeased that they weren’t going to do any real grading and fix drainage issues. Our driveway would need to be started from scratch as it wasn’t done when the house was built and only regrinds were placed. As a result, the driveway constantly washed away. It was a hazard. If you didn’t have all wheel/4x4, you were struggling to make it up our hill. When Ruzbin came out to quote, he said all of the right things about drainage and grading. Although he was slightly more expensive than the other quote, he was going to be doing the work the right way so we went with him. Our driveway is a shared driveway and is very long. He worked with our neighbor as well. When we signed the contracts we knew we needed the driveway done as soon as possible because of its condition. Well he pulled through and got us done early in the season! It rained after they were grading and before paving and he came over to make sure it was draining correctly. They came back and refined it some more. Then we went on vacation for a week while they paved. He came back after it was paved and it rained so he could make sure it was still working and it was! He was thorough and thoughtful. In addition, during grading, it was discovered that the previous owners had laid the groundwork for the driveway but just never finished it. First class. I cannot say enough good things about Ruzbin and his crew. Price was great, job came out amazing (driveway is +/- 550ft), everyone was incredibly professional and were even super friendly to the kids (they loved watching). Hiring New Era was absolutely the best decision I couldve made for this job. The attention to detail was second to none. Ruzbin planned everything-even stuff I never would’ve considered like designing pitch to control runnoff to avoid puddling. Ruzbin was out for a site visit in a day or 2, quote within 24hrs, made plenty of great suggestions, and the job was within 2 weeks. Plus he’s a big fan of vets-huge respect for that. If you’re reading this and hunting for a company, I promise you that you won’t find a better crew than New Era. New Era Paving did a thorough, professional job paving my 2 parking areas and 2 footpaths. They removed all existing pavement, excavated, laid down the proper depth of crush base, compacted it, and did a beautiful job of paving. They took care of  details like rounding off pathway ends and marking the proper arc for the addition of a curved footpath and trash bin pad. And they did the entire job in one day, hassle-free, at a very good price. I could not be more pleased with the result. Five stars isn’t enough.  We had an emergency, a washout that blocked our long and steep driveway and left an open ditch beside it.  Ruzbin called back right away, came out shortly after to take a look, then came back with equipment to move the stone and fill the ditch – two days before Christmas. Ruzbin and his team were everything you need in a paving contractor. The team worked efficiently to regrade the end of our driveway so parking would not damage the undercarriage of cars. Contacted Ruzbin for a quote as I did 2 other paving companies. Ruzbin was the only one that not only got back to me the same day he also looked at the property later that day. May I stress one other paver called back to confirm address and never called back with a quote. Needless to say I went with the most dependable and trusting company. Ruzbin gave me a day and I never met him at the property due to work and  I explained what I needed and New Era went above and beyond with the job. He even helped by shaping the contour of the land a bit to make it look so much better. I was completely satisfied with the Price, Quality, and Professional Kindness. Ruzbin and his crew are excellent, they did an incredible job on my driveway. The old driveway was in very bad shape, and it was not an easy job to remove and do the prep work for our new and improved driveway. Ruzbin and his crew took up the old driveway, removed large boulders, enlarged the parking area, put in proper drainage, and the correct under layment material. They then paved the driveway and walkway to our new stairs. It looks absolutely amazing and I'm sure it will last a very long time. Thank you Ruzbin and your entire crew for a job well done and also for how friendly and professional you all were the entire time you were at our home. Requested a quote from New ERA Paving & Excavating on April 30, 2021, the owner Ruzbin Martinez came out that evening at the end of a workday and provided a quote 2 days later. He was only 200 dollars more than Millers' paving and 6 thousand less than Wachusett paving. We decided to go with New Era Paving because Ruzbin was professional, on time, courteous, and provided a five-year warranty with his work. Ruzbin and his family-run business came to my home on May 25, 2021. Ruzbin's mother kept busy at all times even raking the grass and area along the sidewalk and sweeping out my garage during moments of downtime. Ruzbin's father, uncle, and cousin worked with a good pace and did an excellent job with the driveway. They came to my home and ripped up my old drive, cut out some old concrete, and laid the asphalt down the next morning. I even asked if Ruzbin wouldn't mind removing some soil from the front of the house which a few years prior was filled with what appeared to be just rocks and sand. Ruzbin just added 100 dollars for the removal and was easy to approach, with an absolutely, no problem, I'm already here mentality. I had 4 other quotes and Ruzben not only was price competitive but provided the finish coat the others weren’t offering, The crew were well organized and cleaned up the work area each day. We just got our driveway done by Ruzbin and his company and we are absolutely thrilled with how it came out. Our driveway was not the best. He came out gave us a quote with a very reasonable price and not even within a week he started excavating and then he paved a few days later. I needed to have an old dry well excavated and checked for functionality. I also needed to have the  old asphalt ripped up on my large driveway and the driveway properly prepared to receive new asphalt I had never done business with New Era Paving & Excavating but several friends spoke highly about the  company and I decided to give them a call. . Ruzbin the owner promptly returned my call and made an appointment to look at my job and give me an estimate. He showed up on time for the estimate and gave me a fair price. I decided to give him my job and we decided to do it as soon as the Asphalt plant opened in the spring. Just before April Ruzbin called, gave me a firm date to start the work an an estimate for the completion. They showed up on time on the date and time he had given me. Right away I was impressed with the professionalism of New Era Paving and their crew. They all wore masks for safety, they were polite and I could tell right away these were men that took pride in their work. Ruzbin the owner and his crew are serious about the quality of materials and equipment they use. In a very short while I knew I had hired a very competent team. They measured, they leveled, they used the best materials for the base , grading it just so for perfect water runoff. The day they put down the asphalt also went smooth, everyone working together to give me the best paving job I had ever had done. Looking back the price he gave me was really fair but more than that was the value Ruzbin and his entire team gave me right to the end of the job. They all were as happy and filled with pride as I was as we looked at the finished project! I was definitely a very happy customer and would have them back anytime I had a job for them to do.
